Nick Asbury

Nick Asbury is a writer, poet and contributor to Creative Review magazine. Originally from Stockport, he now lives and works in Bollington.
He is the creator of downbeat journal Perpetual Disappointments Diary (Picador), co-author of A Smile in the Mind: Witty thinking in graphic design (Phaidon), and is featured in The Copy Book: How some of the best advertising writers in the world write their advertising (Taschen).
For the past three years, Nick has been writing fast poems about current events, as part of a project called Realtime Notes. Poems from the project have been published in the Evening Standard and the Guardian. He is also the host of Text Radio: a written ‘podcast’ that takes place inside a shared Google Doc.
